"ancient history" As of 2008, this cable along with many other docs from the FOIA request (which took years to process) remained restricted - classified "B-1" for national security reasons. Other docs from the FOIA records from the Reagan White House archives were heavily redacted. Usually after 25+ years, these things become public.
