Export Management Company - services

Category A - Port to Port Bookings (only)

To be considered a retained account, a shipper is required to have a minimum 3 bookings with Sefco Export as forwarder - over the course of 1 calendar year. If you have not booked any port to port shipments (per above) in the past year, a minimum $250 retainer is required. 

Upon receipt, we can conduct a comprehensive check of current options, to confirm availability and costs associated with a proposed port to port ocean shipment.

We have nearly 4 decades experience in buying and managing ocean carrier and related logistical services. To maintain consistency through the years we have paid out tens of thousands of dollars for all mandated insurances, and have paid ocean carriers, agents and logistics service providers - literally millions. 
Serious attention is provided to our retained accounts.  

Planning is key to successful international logistics. All new requests for our support services comes with a cost. Dedicated time and effort -by seasoned professionals- is extended for our accounts: to conduct feasibilty studies, comprehensive pricing checks with an array of ocean carriers and logistical service providers - to verify service availability, costs and all kinds of due diligence. To have professional attention given to investigate, check and be confirmed by Sefco as your forwarder, a minimum fee is required to open your account.  For our basic port to port export/import support services including pricing requests, the minimum is USD $ 250.  The initial retainer buys up to two hours professional service and dedicated support. 


Category B - Full Service Overseas Moves including Pickup/Delivery

Project management requests that entail advance planning and arrangement of "full service" international moves, including arrangement of pickup, potentially involving well qualified origin labor and packaging, comprehensive ocean forwarding, destination customs clearance and overseas door delivery, requires a minumum retainer of USD $ 1500 in advance of the start of the export/import project planning. 

We have arranged thousands of overseas moves since 1986, and that is real expertise that is both in demand and available at an agreed cost. Unless otherwise agreed - currently this service is available ONLY to accounts connected to a government (diplomatic mission), company or institution. Comprehensive Door/Door Service Support - To be considered a retained account, a shipper will need to have a minimum 3 bookings with Sefco Export as forwarder - over the course of 1 calendar year - or payment of our minimum retainer for project management including advance work, estimations and cost confirmations. The initial retainer of USD $ 1500 buys up to six hours professional service and dedicated support. Upon request, Sefco can send you a proforma invoice - by email - with  payment instructions.
